DG4100 RUNNING GROUND
DESIGNED TO GIVE POSITIVE CONTACT DURING THE STRINGING PROCESS
A running ground is used when there is a potential exposure to electrical hazards. When such hazards exist, as a minimum, running grounds should be installed at the first and last tower between tensioner and puller.
Constructed of heat-treated aluminum alloy components, sheaves are mounted on precision ball bearings. Designed to accommodate conductors from .250″ diameter thru 1.165″ (954 MCM Rail) with adjustable pressure roller. This allows easy passage of sleeves and swivels, yet maintains positive contact at all times even when wire is slack. Open side design enables placing or removing the ground at any point. Grounding stud easily accessible for securing ground wire.
