TWO CONDUCTORS, 8,000 LBS. 60 IN. BULLWHEEL TENSIONER

The Sherman+Reilly Revolution Series T-2608 is a bullwheel tensioner built with two pairs of 60 in. 5-groove bullwheels (4 total) and a max tensioning capacity of 8,000 lbs. per sub-conductor or bullwheel. Each bullwheel has its own planetary gearbox and hydraulic motor with spring-applied hydraulic release brake. A precision, microprocessor-controlled motor drive enables inching, even under maximum load.

Key Features

CAPABILITY

Two sets of 60 in. 5-groove bullwheels capable of tensioning and pullback up to 8,000 lbs. Low-tension mode allows for fiber optic tensioning. Canted bullwheels for T2 conductor.

Hydraulically controls two reel stands.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

Direct drive hydraulic motor and bullwheel. Open center hydraulic configuration, optimized for low-force & synchronized tensioning. Designed to work with up to three compatible tensioners.

OPERATOR’S STATION

Features a Safe-Zone® Cab for the safety and comfort of the operator with a floor to ceiling polycarbonate front window for excellent visibility and protection. The cab includes climate control, an adjustable ergonomic seat, and all required electronic controls and gauges.
