PRODUCTION - HELPER:
A person skilled in but not limited to the following performance of grinding, deburring, cleaning, taping, machinery, washing with pressure washer, reading blue prints, handling materials, sweeping, able to follow verbal and/or written instructions with acceptable quality and productivity.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under general supervision, position is responsible for all planning, scheduling and coordinating through complete production cycle in order to meet customer requirements and operations goals.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain. Works closely with the Materials, Procurement, Distribution Center, Shop Floor personnel and Accounting teams and is responsible for maintaining solid communication and information flow through the supply chain. May work with vendors or other individuals outside the organization. Regular interaction with all levels across multiple organizations is required.
HUMAN RELATIONS: Must have excellent oral and written communications skills. Must demonstrate strong analytical and decision making skills. Must have comfort interacting with all levels of an organization and balancing customer and operations’ requirements. Assertive, yet flexible in handling multiple priorities.
1. Compiles and analyzes computer generated reports and data from the current ERP system to assist in order launching (planning and releasing), parts tracing, shortage analysis, parts ordering, and inventory analysis, order fulfillment, and capacity analysis.
2. Schedules and releases production orders according to priority and production schedules; communicate the production schedule with revisions as necessary for expedites, cancellations, and material shortages.
3. Provides delivery date commitments on work-in-process and finished good products.
4. Coordinates production order priorities with manufacturing supervision.
5. Coordinates with Purchasing to requisition and expedite component parts, raw materials and outside vendor service.
6. Assists in documentation via computer and paperwork as required.
7. Performs duties within the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: B.S. Degree in Business Administration or related field and 2-4 years of experience in production and inventory control. Proficient computer skills. SAP experience is required.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: This position performs highly complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge, analysis, and its application to a variety of situations as well as exercise of independent judgment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 70% office, 30% factory - normally assigned to an office environment; may occasionally be required to be in the factory environment. Uses computer frequently; interfaces with the other employees and outside visitors by telephone, mail, electronic mail, and/or in person. Is required to wear safety glasses and safety shoes within the factory environment.
Drafters / Designers:
We are currently expanding our technical team and seeking Drafters / Designers to help us handle the flood of new and redesigned products being created. You will need to have a minimum of 10 years experience in professional engineering drafting, including at least 5 years of parametric modeling and 3 years using Solid Works Design Suite.
Regional Sales Manager:
Sherman + Reilly is the industry leader in Conductor Placement Systems. The introduction of new products is driving the need to expand sales coverage. We are currently seeking candidates for Regional Sales Managers for the Northeast and Northwest areas of the U.S. The target candidates will have 10+ years of success in selling construction solutions to the U.S. Power Industry, including experience managing a field sales force and the ability to provide hands-on demonstrations of equipment and tools. Experience in both Distribution and Transmission systems is desired, involvement with equipment and tools is a plus. Rep development, key account selling and territory management are a given. 50-75% travel is required. Residence within the region is preferred. We want career driven people who want to sell the best.
